This program will expand student horizons through first-hand engagement with artifacts, sites, and cultural settings that contribute to students' knowledge of music, art, and architecture of Italy and Austria. Students will actively engage in, directly observe, and better understand masterpieces of European music, art, and architecture by attending live concerts by classical musicians, participating in lectures, workshops and master classes, including Italian language classes, and visiting architectural sites, ancient ruins, galleries and museums in Vitipeno and the surrounding region, including Verona, Italy, and Salzburg, Austria.
